The history of Vienna (Vein, Windobon, Venia) has more than 4000 years.

This oldest city has witnessed the heyday and death of a number of empires and eras.
In the Neolithic period peasants and herders lived here. Then the great Ancient Rome with its legionnaires left its mark. It is here that the Emperor Marcus Aurelius rests.

The Habsburgs made Vienna the capital of the Holy Roman Empire, and the reign of the Babenbergs left behind amazing monuments of medieval culture and architecture.

As the capital of great empires, Vienna has always fascinated artists and musicians with its beauty. Great composers worked here, among which were Mozart, Strauss, Beethoven.

The bewitching smell of excellent coffee and violets in sugar, the inimitable Sacher cake, amazing museums, endless balls, waltzes and nightly entertainment - these are the hallmarks of Vienna.
Few German cities are as rich in Baroque monuments as Dresden. Despite the wounds the city suffered during the bombing in 1945, its current form preserves the order we are accustomed to in Germany.

Dresden is the capital of the German state of Saxony and is a political center with the local government and other provincial authorities. Due to its natural location on the Elba River, between the Luzhitsky and Ore Mountains and the Baroque architectural charm, the city is called “Elves in Florence”.

The Golden Horseman

The statue of the horseman of the Saxon elector and the Polish king Augustus the Strong, made in copper, has been on the Neustedter Markt square since 1736. The monument, covered with gilding, depicts the famous sovereign in Roman armor, jumping in the direction of the Polish kingdom belonging to him. By the will of Elector Augustus the Strong and his son Frederick Augustus II. luxurious Baroque architectural ensembles were erected and unique art collections were compiled, thanks to which the city of Dresden received its second name “Florence on the Elbe”.
